Turkey's Borsa Istanbul up 0.21% at Wednesday's close

ANKARA (AA) – Turkey's benchmark stock index closed at 1,432.80 points on Wednesday, up 0.21% from the previous close.

Starting the day at 1,432.24 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 2.95 points from Tuesday's close of 1,429.85 points.

One ounce of gold traded for $1,777.50 by market close, up from $1,776.70 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.

The price of Brent crude oil was up 0.16% to $85.22 per barrel as of 6.25 p.m. local time (1525GMT).
