Turkey's Borsa Istanbul up 0.58% at Monday's close

ANKARA (AA) – Turkey's benchmark stock index closed at 1,417.70 points on Monday, up 0.58% from the previous close.

Starting the day at 1,411.38 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 8.14 points from Friday's close of 1,409.56 points.

One ounce of gold traded for $1,762.60 by market close, down from $1,772.20 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.

The price of Brent crude oil was down 0.1% to $84.78 per barrel as of 6.36 p.m. local time (1536GMT).
