Turkey's Borsa Istanbul up at Monday's close

ANKARA (AA) - Turkey's benchmark stock index closed at 1,455.25 points on Monday, up 0.53% from the previous close.

Starting the day at 1,451.33 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 7.61 points from Friday's close of 1,447.64 points.

One ounce of gold traded for $1.777,35 by market close, up from $1.762,90 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.

The price of Brent crude oil was around $69.56 per barrel with a 1.46% decline as of 6:25 p.m. local time (1525GMT).
