Turkey's Borsa Istanbul up at Tuesday's close

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkey's benchmark stock index was up 0.42% to close Tuesday at 1,210.41 points.

Starting the day at 1,208.98 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index earned 5.04 points over the previous close of 1,205.37 points.

The price of one ounce of gold was $1,890 by market close, down from $1,915 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.

The price of Brent crude oil was around $42.45 per barrel as of 6:15 p.m. local time (1515GMT) on Tuesday.
