Turkey's Borsa Istanbul up at Wednesday's close

ANKARA (AA) – Turkey’s benchmark stock index closed at 1,367.25 points on Wednesday, up 1.52% from the previous close.

Starting the day at 1,349.22 points, Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index gained 20.41 points from the previous close of 1,346.84 points.

The price of one ounce of gold was $1,810 by market close, up from $1,795 on Tuesday, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.

The price of Brent crude oil was around $75.52 per barrel as of 6:39 p.m. local time (1539GMT).
