Turkey's Borsa Istanbul up at weekly close

ANKARA (AA) - Turkey's benchmark stock index went up 0.13% to 1,145.03 points at close on Friday.

After starting the last transaction day of the week at 1,138.91 points, BIST 100 index rose 1.52 points from Thursday's close of 1,143.51 points.

During the day, the index hovered between 1,137.55, and 1,148.26 points.

The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 835 billion Turkish liras ($108 billion) by market close, with a daily trading volume of some 20.2 billion Turkish liras ($2.6 billion).
