Turkish Airlines temporarily cancels flights from Istanbul due to infrastructure works

Ticketing and reservation processes have been interrupted due to maintenance works, Turkish Airlines says

Due to infrastructure works, Turkish Airlines has canceled all flights departing from Istanbul between 7.00 p.m. and 10.00 p.m. local time (1600GMT-1900 GMT) on Wednesday.

National flag carrier announced that ticketing and reservation processes have been interrupted due to maintenance works.

"We are working continuously to make your channels accessible as soon as possible. We kindly ask you to follow up-to-date information on our Social Media accounts," Yahya Ustun, Turkish Airlines’ senior vice president for media relations, said on Twitter.

Turkish Airlines said it will provide accommodation, pay refunds and compensation for any losses due to canceled flights.
