Turkish Central Bank reserves hit fresh all-time high

Gross reserves at record $153.8B as of July 12

The Turkish Central Bank's official reserve assets rose a fresh record high of $153.8 billion as of July 12, according to weekly figures released on Friday.

The gross reserves rose from $148.4 billion a week ago, the bank's international reserves and foreign currency liquidity report showed.

Foreign currency reserves – in convertible foreign currencies – rose to $94.3 billion as of the end of last week, rising $89.7 billion a week before.

The bank's gold reserves – including gold deposits and, if appropriate, gold-swapped – increased $59.4 billion last Friday, up from $58.7 billion on July 5.
