Turkish CEVREFEST environmental festival to begin with focus on sustainability
Festival will host events focused on zero waste, showcase clean production technologies

The CEVREFEST environment festival will begin Thursday in Ankara, organized by the Turkish Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Ministry, with Anadolu as its global communication partner.
The festival will run through June 9 and be inaugurated with a speech by Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Minister Mehmet Ozhaseki.
The festival area will feature 70 environmental stands. There will be information from 39 municipalities known for their environmental, zero waste and renewable energy projects, 13 private sector companies, five associations, nine universities and various ministries.
Participants will have the chance to converse with industry representatives and celebrities known for their environmental awareness.
The festival will host events focused on zero waste and showcase clean production technologies.
An "Innovative Approaches for a Sustainable Environment" discussion will be held on the first day.
On the second day, experts will participate in the "Zero Waste Journey" panel. On Saturday, June 8 there will be a "Green Finance" panel, and on the final day, "Circular Economy and Green Transformation" panels will take place.
Workshops and a book fair will also be part of the festival.
