Turkish finance minister attends international investment events

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's treasury and finance minister gathered with ministers from other countries, officials of international institutions and companies, investors, and business representatives over the past week at G20, IMF and World Bank investment events in the US.

Mehmet Simsek said on X that discussions at these events were very productive, adding that he had met with investors, the business world and credit rating agencies at the 14th Türkiye Investment Conference in New York on Monday.

"In all these meetings, we once again saw that confidence in our country and our program is strong," he said.

"We will continue to implement our program, which we will strengthen with the steps we will take in the coming period, with patience, perseverance and determination."
