ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish modular structure manufacturer Karmod has produced bread sales kiosks in Istanbul’s Basaksehir district as part of a school project allowing high school students to sell the bread they produce, the company said in a statement Friday.
The kiosks will be used to distribute bread baked by students at TOKI Hayme Ana Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School under the initiative “The Student’s Labor, Basaksehir’s Bread.”
Karmod Cabin General Manager Zekai Kucuk said the kiosks were designed to ensure the bread reaches consumers under hygienic conditions.
“Our primary goal with these kiosks is to deliver one of the most essential food items, bread, in a clean and safe environment. That is why all of our kiosks comply with food hygiene standards,” Kucuk said.
He highlighted the ergonomic design of the kiosks, featuring spacious interiors, special shelving for bread sales, and a movable service window to enhance convenience.
“With our durable and high-quality production, Karmod is the most preferred brand in the bread sales kiosk segment,” he said, adding that the company’s kiosks are widely used across Türkiye and have also gained traction in international markets for bread sales and retail store concepts.
Kucuk noted that the kiosks are prefabricated and ready for immediate use upon installation.
For the Basaksehir project, Karmod produced kiosks in its Metro City model, measuring 240 by 400 centimeters.
