ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish manufacturer Karmod has exported a batch of plastic trash bins to Frankfurt, Germany, the company announced Friday.
The company said it shipped 1,000 plastic bins designed specifically for outdoor use in public parks and communal spaces.
Talay Ozturk, general manager of Karmod’s Plastics Division, said the bins were made from reinforced polyethylene for high impact resistance and were produced using rotational molding technology.
The bins were supplied in two sizes—80 and 150 liters—and designed with a stackable form to minimize transport space.
“We designed these bins with durability and long-term outdoor use in mind,” Ozturk said.
“Thanks to their wall thickness and material strength, they can withstand heavy use in public areas like city parks and cultural centers,” he said.
Ozturk also highlighted the company’s commitment to environmental sustainability, saying the bins were made with recyclable materials.
“Our use of recyclable polyethylene aligns with sustainable environmental policies and ensures the products remain durable for many years,” he added.
