Turkish firm Karmod launches 6th phase of steel housing projects in France

Company has become preferred brand in France in villa housing segment, says Karmod prefabricated overseas sales manager

ISTANBUL (AA) – Turkish modular construction company Karmod on Thursday said that it has begun the installation of the sixth phase of its steel-structure housing project in Paris, the capital of France.

Karmod Prefabricated Overseas Sales Manager Ozan Aydin said the company has become a preferred brand in France in the villa housing segment.

Emphasizing that interest in safe steel housing models is growing across Europe, Aydin said: “Steel housing systems have long been a preferred model in European countries. With our innovative production approach, we have significantly accelerated on-site construction processes for steel structures.”

Noting that they have eliminated on-site production and adopted a fully assembly-based model, Aydin said the company installs next-generation steel houses on site in a very short time by minimizing labor.

He said that installation services are provided by Karmod’s own professional teams, adding: “Demand across Europe for our steel houses – which reduce labor costs while offering safety and long service life – is increasing every day. France has become the country where we have built the most steel houses. Across the continent, we have delivered housing projects in 12 countries, including Germany, the UK and Italy.”

Aydin highlighted that the ongoing project in Paris is designed as a luxury 4+1 residence.

“The homes were designed in line with French housing procedures and manufactured at our modern facilities in Tuzla, Istanbul. Each unit was transported by road using a single truck. Installation is being carried out by our professional assembly teams. Building insulation materials were selected based on the local climate. The project currently being assembled in Paris consists of a 4+1 luxury housing model with a total area of 135 square meters.”
