ISTANBUL (AA) – A subsidiary of Turkish building manufacturer Karmod said Monday that it exported paddle boats to France to be used in the lake of a park near the city of Lille.
Talay Ozturk, managing director of Karmod Composite & Plastics, said in a statement that the firm’s products which are made of polyethylene attract attention in European countries in their tourism and entertainment sectors.
Ozturk said the firm also produces water slides for the entertainment sector.
“We have been making paddle boats for many years now, as they are widely preferred (for use) at ponds, on beaches and at parks in Türkiye,” he said.
“The paddle boat attracts attention thanks to its high strength and being very light weight. The boat provides practical use. Paddle boats are in high demand in Europe, and France and Italy are among the leading countries that are interested in paddle boats,” he added.
Ozturk noted that its paddle boats can be produced in different colors, and some come with tents to protect passengers from the sun.
He highlighted that paddle boats can travel on water with ease thanks to their light structure and easy maneuverability.
He added that water slides are also among the most preferred products of Karmod in the entertainment sector.
