Turkish foreign minister in UAE for high-level talks

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan is in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on an official visit to hold various high-level contacts.

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received Fidan in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said. No further information was shared about the closed-door meeting.

Fidan will also meet with his Emirati counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss bilateral cooperation, and exchange views on regional and international developments, particularly the situation in Gaza.
