Turkish-Greek production of Romeo and Juliet to be staged in Ankara
Play also set from Istanbul from April 25 - 28, then in Greece on May 16

Romeo and Juliet will meet an audience in Ankara, this time prepared through the collaboration of Turkish and Greek artists.
Theater enthusiasts showed great interest in the international production of the play written by William Shakespeare, which will bring together artists from both sides of the Aegean.
The production features dialogue in Turkish, Greek and English, will meet an audience from April 21 - 22.
The centuries-old play, which will be staged in Istanbul from April 25 - 28, will meet its audience at the Megaron Athens Concert Hall in Greece on May 16.
It highlights not hatred and prejudice between the ancient Aegean neighbors who share the same geography but rather their deep bonds and common human values.
The aim is to contribute to strengthening peace, understanding and cooperation through artistic and cultural interaction.
Turkish actor Alp Unsal plays Romeo, while Greek actress Calliope Chaska plays Juliet under the direction of Lefteris Giovanidis from Greece.
