ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish medical firm Invamed has developed a catheter tube that offers innovative solutions tailored to complex vascular structures.

According to the company statement, various strategies are employed in different endovascular interventions and intravascular procedures to control bleeding.

These strategies are developed considering the complexity of vascular structures and the diversity of encountered diseases.

Guides and medical devices of various shapes, diameters, and sizes are designed to reach the relevant area.

Doctors use the specialized tools to access the vessels, solve problems and control bleeding, allowing interventions for the patient's health to be performed more safely and effectively.

The SteerCATH steerable catheter, developed by Invamed, stands out with its innovative solutions for complex vascular structures.

It provides a standard straight version and distinguishes itself by offering a pre-shaped shaft version, setting it apart from other steerable guides. This feature allows the device to maneuver more effectively and precisely.

Specifically designed for minimally invasive surgery, the catheter is equipped with a mechanism controlled by the doctor, providing a controllable solution directed toward complex vascular structures.

The device is directed using the user-controlled handle (proximal end). This unique design ensures precise control and torque response by optimizing the catheter's steerable section (tip) reaction.

SteerCATH offers surgeons confidence and effectiveness in surgical interventions by guiding them to a specific target position within the body. It provides a flexible solution for surgical needs, offering one-way, two-way, four-way, and multi-directional steering options. These options typically provide surgeons with various steering choices suitable for situations such as multi-planar or multi-plane inclined catheters.

The SteerCATH tool is suitable for therapeutic devices and the placement of diagnostic devices and features an ergonomic design.
