Turkish military chief, NATO commander talk over phone

ANKARA (AA) – Türkiye’s military chief and NATO’s military committee head discussed the latest developments in the alliance on Friday, according to Turkish authorities.

The Turkish Armed Forces said on Twitter that Gen. Yasar Guler, Turkish Chief of General Staff, and Rob Bauer, chair of NATO Military Committee, held a phone call. It did not give any further details about the conversation.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Friday reiterated that NATO is stronger with Türkiye, the alliance's member for over 70 years.
