Turkish National Defense Minister meets Assistant to President of Republic of Azerbaijan

Türkiye to devote all its energy to developing relations with Azerbaijan, Guler says

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish National Defense Minister Yasar Guler on Friday met with Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Khalid Ahadov, in Ankara.

Guler emphasized an "unshakable spirit of solidarity" based on eternal and fraternal ties between Türkiye and Azerbaijan "rather than a relationship between two separate countries," according to the Turkish National Defense Ministry statement.

"With the understanding of one nation and two states, we will continue to proceed resolutely on this path we have been walking until today," he said.

The Turkish armed forces will continue to share the military knowledge, expertise, and experience it possesses with the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan in the future, he said.

"We devote all our energy to developing our relations," Guler said. "Türkiye will continue to stand with Azerbaijan."
