Turkish security forces deliver safety aid materials to Lebanon

BEIRUT, Lebanon (AA) - Turkey's Security General Directorate delivered individual protective materials to its Lebanese corresponding body on Friday.

Previously delivered to the eastern Mediterranean country, the aid materials were presented to the Interior Security Forces General Directorate in a ceremony in Beirut as part of Turkey’s aid campaign in Lebanon.

Ankara’s Ambassador to Beirut Ali Baris Ulusoy said Turkey places importance on security institutions for Lebanon's stability and safety.

"There are historic relations and mutual cultural values that bond Turkey and Lebanon," said Ulusoy. "This gives us the determination to always stand with Lebanon."
