Turkish, Serbian presidents meet in US for talks
Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Aleksandar Vucic are in New York to attend 79th session of UN General Assembly

WASHINGTON (AA) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic met on Sunday in New York for talks.
The closed-door meeting at the Turkish House came on the sidelines of the 79th session of UN General Assembly (UNGA).
Türkiye sees Serbia as an important country for the stability of the region and supports its integration with the EU.
Bilateral ties with Serbia are progressing positively, and commercial and economic relations are developing with strong momentum.
The Türkiye-Serbia High-level Cooperation Council was established in 2017.
