Turkish stock exchange begins midweek up
BIST 100 opens at 11,561.73 points

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Wednesday reaching 11,561.73 points, up 0.28% or 31.92 points.
On Tuesday, the BIST 100 was up 0.45% at 11,529.81 points, an all-time high closing level, with a daily transaction volume of 182 billion Turkish liras ($4.4 billion).
As of 10.20 am local time (0720GMT), exchange rates stood at 41.0395 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 47.6920 to the euro, and 55.2660 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,375.30, while Brent crude oil was trading at $66.45 per barrel.
