Turkish stock exchange begins midweek up
BIST 100 gains 45.2 points at opening session

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Wednesday, reaching 10.512,42 points, up 0.43% or 45.23 points.
On Tuesday, the BIST 100 was down 0.16% at 10,467.20 points, with a daily transaction volume of 120.8 billion Turkish liras ($2.87 billion).
As of 10.20 am local time (0720GMT), exchange rates stood at 41.9760 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 48.7560 to the euro, and 55.9790 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $4,140.6, while Brent crude oil was trading at $62 per barrel.
