Turkish stock exchange begins Thursday up
Benchmark BIST 100 index gains 33.25 points at opening bell

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Thursday at 10,584.59 points, rising 0.32%, or 33.25 points, from the previous close.
On Wednesday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 added 0.8% to close at 10,551.34 points, with a daily transaction volume of 123.7 billion Turkish liras ($2.94 billion).
As of 09.50 am local time (0650GMT), exchange rates stood at 41.9835 liras to the US dollar, 48.8010 to the euro, and 56.2130 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $4,119.55, while Brent crude oil was trading at $64.20 per barrel.
