Turkish stock exchange down at open
BIST 100 index drops over 30 points at opening session

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index BIST 100 opened Friday at 10,028.15 points, down 0.3% or 30.48 points from the previous close.
On Thursday, the BIST 100 index was flat at 10,058.63 points, with a daily trading volume of 85 billion liras ($2.45 billion).
As of 10.30 a.m. (0630GMT), the exchange rates stood at 34.9425 for the US dollar against the Turkish lira, 36.5680 for the euro, and 44.1030 for the British pound.
The price of one ounce of gold was $2,682.65, and the price of Brent crude oil traded at $73.3 per barrel.
