Turkish stock exchange flat at Tuesday's open
BIST 100 index up slightly by 8.90 points at open

ANKARA (AA) — Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Tuesday at 9,583.73 points, rising slightly by 0.09%, or 8.90 points, from the previous close.
On Monday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index dropped 0.28% to close at 9,574.83 points, with a daily transaction volume of 70.8 billion Turkish liras ($1.94 billion).
The USD/TRY exchange rate was 36.4619 as of 9.48 a.m. (0648GMT), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 38.2226, and the GBP/TRY traded at 46.0543.
The price of an ounce of gold was $2,951.12, while the price of Brent crude oil was roughly $74.58 per barrel.
