Turkish stock exchange opens flat on Friday
Benchmark BIST 100 index slightly rises 1.50 points at opening session

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened the last trading day of the week at 9,280.71 points, slightly up 0.02% or 1.50 points from the previous close.
On Thursday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 gained 2.25%, closing at 9,279.21 points, with a daily trading volume of 97 billion Turkish liras ($2.51 billion).
As of 9.50 am local time (0650GMT), the US dollar/Turkish lira (USD/TRY) exchange rate stood at 38.7415, the EUR/TRY rate was 43.5980, and the GBP/TRY rate was 51.3600.
The price of one ounce of gold was $3,320.60, while the barrel price of Brent oil was around $63.05.
