Turkish stock exchange opens flat on Friday
Benchmark BIST 100 index loses 7.19 points at Friday's opening session

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened the last trading day of the week at 10,375.70 points, slightly down 0.07% or 7.19 points from the previous close.
On Thursday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 dropped 1.92%, closing at 10,382.89 points, with a daily trading volume of 164.97 billion Turkish liras ($3.37 billion).
As of 09.50 am local time (0650GMT), the US dollar/Turkish lira (USD/TRY) exchange rate stood at 41.3705, the EUR/TRY rate was 48.5790, and the GBP/TRY rate was 56.1140.
The price of one ounce of gold was $3,648.70, while the barrel price of Brent oil was around $65.55.
