Turkish stock exchange opens higher on Friday
BIST 100 index gains 84.38 points at opening session

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Friday at 10,415.69 points, up 0.82% or 84.38 points from the previous close.
On Thursday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 climbed 1.61%, closing at 10,331.31 points with a daily trading volume of 118 billion Turkish liras ($2.96 billion).
As of 9.50 am local time (0650GMT), the US dollar/Turkish lira (USD/TRY) exchange rate stood at 40.1705, the EUR/TRY rate was 47.0105, and the GBP/TRY rate was 54.4835.
The price of one ounce of gold was $3,336.05, while the barrel price of Brent oil was around $68.50.
