Turkish stock exchange opens Thursday down
Benchmark BIST 100 index loses 12.99 points at opening bell

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Thursday at 10,573.34 points, down 0.12% or 12.99 points from the previous close.
On Wednesday, the BIST 100 rose 0.96% to 10,586.32 points, with a daily transaction volume of 110.3 billion Turkish liras ($2.67 billion).
As of 09.50 am local time (0650GMT), exchange rates stood at 41.2925 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 48.3880 to the euro, and 55.9585 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,635.40, while Brent crude oil was trading at $67.25 per barrel.
