Turkish stock exchange opens up on Friday
Benchmark BIST 100 index rises 9.02 points at opening session

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Friday at 9,310.07 points, up 0.10% or 9.02 points from the previous close.
On Thursday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 lost 1.25%, closing at 9,301.05 points, with a daily trading volume of 68.8 billion Turkish liras ($1.73 billion).
As of 09.50 am local time (0650GMT), the US dollar/Turkish lira (USD/TRY) exchange rate stood at 39.8380, the EUR/TRY rate was 46.7620, and the GBP/TRY rate was 54.7865.
The price of one ounce of gold was $3,289.90, while the barrel price of Brent oil was around $66.95.
