Turkish stock exchange up at open
BIST 100 index gains around 37 points at opening session

ISTANBUL (AA) - The Turkish benchmark stock index opened Friday at 10,909.45 points, up by 0.34% or 36.89 points from the previous close.
On Thursday, the BIST 100 index went up by 1.78% to 10,872.56 points with a daily transaction volume of 104 billion liras ($3.18 billion).
The US dollar/Turkish lira (USD/TRY) exchange rate was 32.7080 as of 10.10 a.m. (0710GMT), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 35.4300, while the GBP/TRY rate was 41.7580.
The price of one ounce of gold was $2,363.85, and the barrel price of Brent oil was around $87.05.
