Turkish stock exchange up at weekly open
BIST 100 index earns around 90 points at opening session on Monday

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Monday at 9,748.03 points, up 0.92% or 89.31 points from the previous close.
On Friday, the BIST 100 fell 0.85% to 9,658.72 points, with a daily transaction volume of 114 billion Turkish liras ($3.12 billion).
As of 10.25 a.m. local time (0725GMT), exchange rates stood at 36.4915 liras to the US dollar, 38.0040 to the euro, and 45.9570 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $2,862.70, while Brent crude oil was trading at $72.90 per barrel.
