Turkish stock market closes Thursday with new records
BIST 100 jumps over 30 points for new all-time high closing

ANKARA (AA) - Turkiye's benchmark stock index Borsa Istanbul on Thursday climbed 1.22% to close at a new all-time high of 2,556.81 points.
The BIST 100 index also hit a fresh intraday record of 2,562.28 points.
Starting the day at 2,531.68 points, the index jumped 30.89 points from Wednesday's close of 2,525.93.
One ounce of gold traded for $1,942 by market close, down from $1,951.80 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent crude oil was up 0.8% to $107.66 per barrel as of 6.22 p.m. local time (1522GMT).
