Turkish stocks end week 0.14% down
BIST 100 index falls 135.41 points from Thursday's close, USD/TRY exchange rate stands around 5.81

ANKARA (AA) - Turkey's benchmark stock index ended the week down 0.14% to close at 94,022.28 points on Friday.
After starting the day at 94,033.63 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index fell 135.41 points from 94,157.69 points at Thursday's close.
On a weekly basis, the benchmark index posted a 3.56% hike. At the beginning of this year, the BIST 100 stood around 89,000 points.
During Friday's trading, the index hovered between 93,025.04 points and 94,377.75 points -- 33 stocks on the index rose, 53 fell, and 14 were flat compared to the previous close.
Closing the day with a market value of nearly 626 billion Turkish liras ($109 billion), the benchmark index posted a daily trading volume of 5.84 billion Turkish liras ($1 billion).
One ounce of gold sold for $1,394.25 at the weekly close in Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets, versus $1,383.00 at previous close.
The price of Brent oil was $65.14 per barrel as of 6 p.m. local time (1500GMT) on Friday -- with a day range of $64.00 to $65.75.
At the beginning of 2019, a barrel of Brent oil sold for around $53.
