Turkish stocks open Tuesday looking up
BIST 100 rises 47.5 points at opening session

ANKARA (AA) – Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Tuesday at 7,993.89 points, up by 0.60% or 47.52 points, from the previous close.
On Monday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index closed at 7,946.37 points, hiking 1.18%, with a daily trading volume of 85 billion Turkish liras ($2.95 billion).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 28.7600 as of 9.56 a.m. local time (0656GMT), the euro/lira rate stood at 31.6045, and a British pound traded for 36.0726 Turkish liras.
Brent crude oil was selling for around $81.75 per barrel, while the price of an ounce of gold was $1,992.75.
