Turkish stocks up at opening
Index sees over 102,000 points level for first time since last March

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkey's benchmark stock index dropped by 0.80% or 816.13 points to open the last transaction day of the week at 102,382.38 points.
On Thursday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index soared 1.76% to close the day at 101,566.25 points with a daily trading volume of 8 billion Turkish liras ($1.4 billion).
The index saw the over 102,000 points level for the first time since the last March.
The U.S. dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 5.6510 as of 9.30 a.m. local time (0630GMT) on Friday, down from 5.6950 on Thursday.
The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate dropped to 6.3680, versus 6.4010, and one British pound traded for 7.0960 Turkish liras, compared to 7.1100 the previous day.
One barrel of Brent oil sold for $62.90 as of 10 a.m. local time (0700GMT) on Friday.
