Türkiye extends condolences for those killed in Kuwait building fire

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye extended condolences Wednesday for a deadly fire in southern Kuwait that has killed at least 50 victims.

"We are deeply saddened by the loss of many lives in a building fire in Mangaf, Kuwait," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

"We extend our sincere condolences to the families of the deceased and to the people of Kuwait, and wish a speedy recovery to the injured," it added.

At least 49 people were killed and dozens injured when a fire broke out Wednesday in two residential buildings in Mangaf, according to the Kuwaiti Interior Ministry.
