Türkiye, NATO officials meet to discuss preparations for upcoming summit

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye’s Deputy Foreign Minister Burak Akcapar met with NATO Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs and Security Policy Boris Ruge, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said on Thursday.

Akcapar and Ruge discussed “issues on NATO's agenda,’’ including “preparations for the upcoming Washington Summit,’’ the ministry added.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry shared no further information regarding the meeting.

The discussions signify the ongoing dialogue and partnership between Türkiye and NATO, reaffirming their shared dedication to promoting peace and security on a global scale.
