Türkiye's BIST 100 closes midweek in the green

Türkiye's benchmark stock index rose 1.14% to close Wednesday at 10,165.52 points, extending gains to a second session.

Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 increased 114.15 points from Tuesday's close of 10,051.37 points.

The price of an ounce of gold was $2,341.80, while Brent crude oil sold for around $8.10 per barrel as of 6.12 p.m. local time (1512GMT).

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 32.3145, the euro/lira exchange rate 35.0565, and the British pound traded at 41.5017 liras.
