Türkiye's BIST 100 closes Monday up

ANKARA (AA) — Türkiye's benchmark stock index closed Monday at 10,085.50 points, up 0.10% from the previous close.

Extending its gains to a third session, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 10.33 points with a daily transaction volume of 103 billion liras ($2.93 billion).

The price of an ounce of gold was $2,646.39, while Brent crude oil sold for around $77.03 per barrel as of 6.37 p.m. local time (1537GMT).

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 35.3227, the euro/lira exchange rate 36.6916, and the British pound traded at 44.1704 liras.
