Türkiye's BIST 100 closes Tuesday on high note

Türkiye's benchmark stock index closed Tuesday at 10,011.27 points, rising 0.14% from the previous close.

Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 13.61 points with a daily transaction volume of 83 billion liras ($2.37 billion).

The price of an ounce of gold was $2,656.71, while Brent crude oil sold for around $72.74 per barrel as of 6:31 p.m. local time (1531GMT).

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 34.9907, the euro/lira exchange rate was 36.7560, and the British pound traded at 44.4534 liras.
