Türkiye's BIST 100 closes Tuesday on low note

Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended Tuesday at 10,691.68 points, falling 0.39% from the previous close.

Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 dropped 42.07 points with a daily trading volume of 90 billion Turkish liras ($2.73 billion).

The price of an ounce of gold was $2,429.40, while Brent crude oil sold for around $78.06 per barrel as of 6.47 p.m. local time (1547GMT).

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 33.0701, the euro/lira exchange rate 35.7812, and the British pound traded at 42.4293 liras.
