Türkiye's BIST 100 closes Tuesday with loses
Benchmark index decreases nearly 50 points at closing session

Türkiye's benchmark stock index closed Tuesday at 9,226.86 points, down 0.55% from the previous close.
After starting the day at 9,253.94 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index lost 49.92 points, with a daily transaction volume of 85 billion liras ($2.46 billion).
The price of an ounce of gold was $2,609.70, while Brent crude oil sold for around $72.36 per barrel as of 6.30 p.m. local time (1530GMT).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 34.366, the euro/lira exchange rate was 36.4973, and the British pound traded at 43.8943 liras.
