Türkiye's BIST 100 index closes Wednesday with losses

Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended Wednesday at 10,247.75 points, down 0.86% from the previous close.

Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 lost 88.75 points from Tuesday's all-time closing high of 10,336.50.

The price of an ounce of gold was $2,323.40 while Brent crude oil sold for around $83.33 per barrel as of 6.08 p.m. local time (1508GMT).

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 32.2539, the euro/lira exchange rate stood at 34.6960, while the British pound traded at 40.2936 liras.
