Türkiye's BIST 100 index up at Thursday close

Türkiye's benchmark stock index closed Thursday at 7,895.96 points, rising 0.28% from the previous close.

Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index earned 21.80 points from the midweek's close.

The total market value of BIST 100 was around 6.7 trillion liras ($224 billion), with a daily trading volume of 92 billion liras ($3 billion).

The price of an ounce of gold was $2,032.55, while Brent crude oil sold for around $78.92 per barrel as of 7.06 p.m. local time (1606GMT).

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 30.0024, the euro/lira exchange rate stood at 32.9751, while a British pound traded for 38.1505 liras.
