Türkiye's BIST 100 rallies at Thursday close

Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended Thursday at 10,391.89 points, surging 2.23% from the previous close.

Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 gained 226.37 points from Wednesday's close of 10,165.52 points.

The price of an ounce of gold was $2,331.40, while Brent crude oil sold for around $82.61 per barrel as of 6.06 p.m. local time (1506GMT).

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 32.3284, the euro/lira exchange rate 35.0241, and the British pound traded at 41.5149 liras.
