Türkiye's BIST 100 up at Thursday close

Türkiye's benchmark stock index closed Thursday at 10,319.96 points, rising 1.59% from the previous close.

Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 gained 161.33 points from Wednesday's close of 10,158.63 points.

The price of an ounce of gold was $2,382.55, while Brent crude oil sold for around $83.21 per barrel as of 6.19 p.m. local time (1519GMT).

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 32.1958, the euro/lira exchange rate was 34.9865, and the British pound traded at 40.7863 liras.
