Turkiye's Borsa Istanbul closes Wednesday with losses

ANKARA (AA) - Turkiye's benchmark stock index ended Wednesday at 2,002.24 points, down 0.65% from the previous close.

Starting the day at 2,028.88 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index lost 13.19 points from Tuesday's close of 2,015.43 points.

Price of one ounce of gold was $1,805 with a 0.25% gain at 6.22 p.m. local time (1522 GMT).

Price of Brent crude oil was around $88.91 per barrel with a 0.3% loss at the same time.
