Türkiye's Borsa Istanbul down at open
BIST 100 index loses 3.4 points at opening session versus Friday's record-high close

ANKARA (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened at 3,142.67 points on Monday, down 0.11%, or 3.43 points, from the previous close.
Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index on Friday ended the week up 0.30% with an all-time high close of 3,146.10 points, with a daily trading volume of 91.8 billion liras ($5 billion).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate slightly rose to 18.1863 as of 9.44 a.m. local time (0644GMT) from 18.1810 at the previous close.
The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate fell to 18.0815 from 18.2450, while one British pound traded for 21.2333 Turkish liras, down from 21.5360 at the previous close.
Brent crude oil was selling for around $99.42 per barrel with hopes of a production cut from major suppliers, while the price of an ounce of gold was $1,736.05
